The ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Geneva upholds appeals filed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) against a decision by skiing's governing body to clear Pinter. The court said it had found Pinter guilty of complicity. Italian police found doping products in the Austrian team's chalet. Last month Italian prosecutors started legal proceedings against 10 members. Some of them already face life-long Olympic bans by the IOC. Pinter's ban applies retrospectively from 2006 until 2010.
